The ugly young woman again.

Tried out a colour palette. Not really too sure but I thought I'd upload it anyway.

The Ugly Young Woman. Merz Fairy Tales.

So so so! It's been a while, I'll try my best to update my blog more in the future. Anyway, I have some sketches from my moleskine and my line work so far for one of my images for this Merz project. After reading the story and going round in circles for a while I got an idea about what to do, a series of images. Always a good starting point. The images will be a visual representation of the story, and the messages behind beauty, focusing on the idea that what is beautiful to someone isn't necessarily beautiful to another and vice-versa what is ugly to someone isn't necessarily ugly to someone else. I still need to thicken up some of the lines, maybe add more details and such but here's the line work so far, it will be coloured and textured digitally.

Some changes.

Changed the colours for my "How to be... conceited" project upon the recommendation of the tutors as the colours were far too similar, well the same as, my "Small victories" project.

Sam double page spread final.

The final for my Sam project, took a while but i got there. Used mainly ink lines, digital texturing and some colouring in photoshop. Now I'm going to grab a beer. Enjoy!
